Content and physical description
ContentThe secretary from the theatre department presents the music department with the result of the negotiations on the composition MOTEL THAT DUPAL.
The theatre department wrote to Charlotte Martinů (23 May 1977), and ChM referred them to Karel Šebánek in her reply (3 June 1977). KS told them that the score (and perhaps other material) had been published by the Czech Music Fund. The writer passes on the contacts of the ČHF staff. The material was supposedly published for a concert performance of the work, which never took place. The autograph is in a museum in Polička or Prague.
The Rudyard Kipling design is still copyrighted, the heiress is represented by the London A Agency. P. Watt & Son (address given).
The writer proposes a personal meeting between the two departments as soon as the true state of the material is ascertained.
