ContentB&H thanks Dilia for her letter of 26 May 1954. They are glad that they have come to an agreement with Dilia about JULIETTA and SPALICE.
A major German theatre [Hessisches Staatstheater Wiesbaden?] is interested in JULIET for the coming season. Dilia is therefore to send 20 piano lifts and complete material to B&H by mid-August. If she sent more piano lifts, B&H would try to negotiate performances in other theatres.
They would like to get 10 piano lifts of THE SPALICE as soon as possible. The work is unknown outside of the Czechoslovakia and they would have to send many piano lifts to theatres that might be interested. If the B&H receives them by mid-June, they can hopefully secure a performance of the piece for next season.
B&H could represent these works in all countries except Czechoslovakia, Poland, GDR, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria and the USSR. The writer suggests other terms of cooperation.
