Content and physical description
ContentCharlotta Martinů thanks the Prinses for their letter of 28 August 1963, from which she learned of their departure for America. She wishes them a pleasant stay with their family.
She hopes that the Prinses may have met a few people who are interested in JULIETTA. The opera is part of the repertoire of the Prague Opera Company and is scheduled to be performed at the Théâtre des Nations [now the Municipal Theatre] in Paris in May 1964. ChM welcomes the fact that Bohuslav Martinů's opera will finally be performed in Paris.
ChM heard that they were broadcasting the Mass on Dutch radio and television. She is pleased that the Dutch have always had a positive attitude towards BM's music. She also thanks the addressees for their efforts and regrets that she will not meet them on the Côte d'Azur, so they will not see each other for two years.
