Content and physical description
ContentCharlotta Martinů writes to the Prinses that she has returned from a six-week stay in Prague and found their letter of 20 May 1962. She sees that they have many travel plans for the summer. She hopes that they will be able to meet in Vieux-Moulin. ChM will be in Perugia on Sept. 16 and 17 for a performance of GREEK PASSIONS and suggests that the Prinses might come to her in early September.
ChM in Prague heard that conductor Henry Arends will perform PARABOLY with the Noordhollands Philharmonisch Orkest. The concerts will take place on 15 Jan 1963 in Haarlem and 9 Feb 1963 in Maastricht.
ChM will travel to Schönenberg, where a memorial service for Bohuslav Martinů will be held on 28 Aug. Her plans for the holidays are rather confused; she is expecting friends from America and will arrange accordingly.
