Content and physical description
ContentBohuslav Martinů recommends to Sergei Koussevitzky the work "Le comité" by Diran Alexanian. He asks if he would be interested in the work "MEMORIAL TO THE PEOPLE", which pays tribute to a small village in Czechoslovakia that was completely wiped out. This piece has a shorter running time, so he recommends it as an overture. BM believes that this piece could be performed at a concert to mark the 25th anniversary of Czechoslovakia. BM would be very happy to have this particular work performed in Boston.
