ContentThe sender replies to Charlotte Martinů's (undated) letter. He does not understand why ChM complains that he is not getting royalties for the GREEK PASCHIES. In the meantime she must have received a letter from the accounts department showing that the publishers had sent her sums totalling over 24,000 shillings in the past year alone. The misunderstanding could only be explained by the fact that the money was transferred to the Sarasin Bank in Basel, whereas Charlotte writes of the Société Générale in Compiègne. The publishing house asks ChM to let them know if she is interested in receiving payments into the Compiègne bank account.
Moreover, the writer does not understand why ChM addressed its complaints to the Dilia agency in Prague, which has nothing to do with the contract between Bohuslav Martinů and Universal Edition.
