Content and physical description
ContentBohuslav Martinů announces that he has just completed an orchestral composition for the Venice Festival - INVENCE. He also adds a list of all the instruments, including a detailed description of the percussion and the duration of the piece: 11 and a half minutes. The piece is to have 3 parts: 1. Allegro moderato, 2. Andante moderato, 3. Poco allegro. BM will send a manuscript of the score to Schott Publishing. However, he is unsure whether the publisher will pursue publishing the work in the near future. He asks when the work will need to be available so that he can arrange accordingly in time - with editing the work, breaking down the material or sending the score from Schott.
