Content and physical description
ContentMiloslav Bureš thanks Zdeněk Zouhar for his letter and considers his proposal to be correct. He knows R. Walter and his wife well. It is obvious that Zouhar is going about it differently than he did in Prague [staging the OPENING OF THE STUDIOS], but certainly in an original way and for the benefit of the work. The cast of the Prague preview can't tell Zouhar, there is a shortage of programmes and he has lost his. In Prague there will be a public performance of [STUDÁNEK] probably at the beginning of February 1956 at the House of Artists.
From the pre-premiere Bureš remembers that the instruments were played by members of the Pešek Quartet, the baritone was sung by Jiří Bar, Miroslav Doležal recited, the dedication was read by Z. Ledvinová [sic].
Bureš is very much looking forward to the performance in Polička. He provided copies of Studánek as a gift for Zouhar's ensemble. As for the film [the recording of the concert by television or J. Trnka's planned project?], Bureš asked František Popelka to officially request the film; he himself also mentioned it in Prague. "Let's hope it will work out somehow."
