Content and physical description
ContentPaul Sacher tells Ernest Hartmann (from the UE) the current address by Bohuslav Martinů. He also mentions the exact date of the concert (24 October) where the Sextet [SMITH SEXTET] will be performed by the Basler Kammerorchester. The composer has expressed himself in the sense that he would like to attend the concert. However, PS does not know if he will come on 20 October. For this reason, it would be better if the addressee arranged a meeting directly with Martinů.

                Vielen Dank für Ihrer Brief. Die augenblickliche Adresse von Herrn Martinu lautet: 17 bis, Bvd. Mont-Boron, Nice, A.M. (France)



                Das Konzert, in dem ich mit dem Basler Kammerorchester sein Sextett aufführte, findet am 24. Oktober statt. Er hat die Absicht geäussert, daran teilnehmen zu wollen. Ob er aber schon am 20. Oktober hier eintrifft, weiss ich nicht. Aus diesem Grund ist es besser, wenn Sie sich mit ihm direkt in Verbindung setzen.
