Content and physical description

Content	The publisher (UE) informs Paul Sacher that the second part of the score of EPOS ON GILGAMES has just arrived. With "immense difficulty" the publisher will, at Sacher's request, make a double-sided copy of the complete score. He also asks Sacher to send back the three parts of the piano excerpt and then sends him a printed copy immediately. Sacher is also to send the remaining six piano lifts for the soloists so that the publisher can exchange them for printed copies.
Transcription of the letter	"[...] Auch der II. Part der Partitur zu MARTINU ´Gilgamesch´ist heute hier eingetroffen. Wir werden Ihnen, wie gewünscht, eine komplette Partitur 2seitig belichtet unter ´unsäglicher Mühsal´ herstellen. Bitte senden Sie uns auch noch den Ihnen (in 3 Teilen) übersandten Klavierauszug zurück, wir lassen Ihnen mit gleicher Post ein gedrucktes Exemplar zugehen. Auch, falls es Ihnen möglich ist, die übrigen 6 Klavierauszüge (für die Solisten) uns zu retournieren, könnten wir sie durch gedruckte Exemplare austauschen.
