Content and physical description
ContentMiloš Šafránek thanks the addressee of the letter for his efforts to publish a book about [Bohuslav] Martinů, which Jan Klusák informed him about. MŠ was going to attend the premiere of JULIETTE in London but fell ill. MŠ told Charles Mackerras his views on the publishing event in London: 1) MŠ does not consider a new edition of his book on BM necessary, 2) Roberta Finlayson-Samsourová's translation is perfect, even in Břetislav Hodek's opinion, and the RFS has copyrighted it, 3) MŠ has written a new book "BM Theatre" which will be published by Supraphon in November this year, 4) MŠ would welcome an English edition of the book, given the growing interest in BM's stage work.
