Content and physical description
ContentPaul Sacher asks the publisher whether he has already reached a business agreement with A. H. Eichmann [the author of the German translation of the text for B. Martinů's EPOS ON GILGAMEŠ]. He asks about the publisher's plans for publishing the work. He hopes that the score, piano excerpt and choral score will be published. He stresses that the piano excerpts and choral scores in particular are very important to him and he would like them to be published as soon as possible. He therefore asks for specific publication dates.

"[...] Sind Sie mit Herrn Eichmann handelseinig geworden? Welche Pläne haben Sie in Bezug auf die Materialherstellung?  Ich hoffe, dass Partitur, Klavierauszug und Chorpartituren gedruckt werden. Es wäre mir sehr wichtig, Klavierauszüge und Chorpartituren relativ bald zu bekommen. An welche Termine haben Sie gedacht? [...]"
