ContentOn his return to Paris, Bohuslav Martinů learned of his Coolidge Prize win. He expresses his gratitude and how much this prize means to him. He can now work independently again for a while. He would like to dedicate the prize-winning composition [THE SMITH SEXTET] to BM Elizabeth Sprague Coolidge, sends her the first page with his signature and dedication, and asks to be supplied with the competition manuscript.
