Content and physical description
ContentBohuslav Martinů thanks for the letter, expressing his satisfaction with the performance of the SMITH QUINTET he heard in Paris. He will always be very happy if he can compose for Eizabeth Sprague-Coolidge. BM reports that he has received the music from Lionel Tertis and that the QUINTET will be performed twice in Paris: at the Salle Debussy on 7 December and at the Sorbonne on 18 December. He remains in expectation of a copy of the score; he will send her a copy as soon as it is published. The quintet will be recorded at Columbia. She wishes him a happy Christmas.
