Content and physical description
ContentJohn Andrews writes regarding David Fallows' criticism printed in The Guardian, accusing Walter Weller's performance of SYMPHONY No. 4 of violating the "last hand of the author" rule [by omitting three bars in the Largo]. Boosey & Hawkes have proof that Bohuslav Martinů intended to omit the bars. They have no mention to the contrary. As WW will be recording the piece with RLRO, JA asks for evidence that BM intended to leave the bars in the piece, so that he can then decide which version to record.
