ContentBohuslav Martinů needs to have a piano reduction of his opera [THREE WISHES OR INCONSTANCY OF THE LIFE] made. The reduction which he wrote is insufficient, which is why he asks about financial conditions – the reduction would be made by their arranger. He says that he will send in the translation of the opera when it is finished, which should be soon. He hopes that the Berliner conductor’s decision will be affirmative. Also, he will be happy if they publish his SEXTET.
