ContentThey go back to his letter of the 3rd of this month [the author of the letter is probably referring to last month] and tell Bohuslav Martinů that all the corrections in the score and [orchestral] material of the CONCERTA GROSSA have been made and have gone to press. When they come out, they will immediately send the material to Associated Music Publishers Inc., New York.
Paul Sacher has calculated the purchase price for the manuscript material from which he conducted and for the score. It concerns his performances with the Basel Chamber Orchestra, whereas for performances with other ensembles (e.g. in other cities) he has to pay them a rental fee.
BM had the manuscript score sent to PS in Basel. They believe he took it with him to New York, and ask him to return it occasionally, as the autograph is the property of the publishing house.
