Content	An accident prevented Bohuslav Martinů from replying to the letter of 15 July earlier. He would be much obliged to Alfred Schlee if they would publish the CONCERTO GROSSO in print as soon as possible - which would of course be contractually stipulated. As regards the representation of his other works for Europe, he is unfortunately not in a position to commit himself to anything, as he is already committed to the Prague publisher Melantrich. Universal Edition, Vienna, must also come to an agreement with him for the possible publication of pocket scores.
