Content and physical description
ContentAlfred Schlee has not yet had the pleasure of meeting Bohuslav Martinů in person, and begs him to see him as an old admirer of his work. He assures him that Universal Edition Vienna is very interested in establishing closer relations with him as soon as possible.
Mr. [Hugo] Winter wrote to Schlee that AMP had accepted a number of BM's works. AS hopes to get representation for these works in Europe. Eventually, if the AMP were intending to hand over some of these works, they would be very interested in obtaining them in UE, Vienna.
Of course, they would be even happier if they could acquire new BM works, especially for orchestra. It is high time that some of his works were captured in the "Philharmonic Scores" of UE, Vienna.
AS mentions first of all the CONCERTO GROSSO, the score of which is still in Switzerland at this time.
