Content and physical description
ContentBohuslav Martinů writes to Charlotte Martinů of Great Barrington to describe his present surroundings in more detail He recalls how he and ChM went to [Pierre] Luboschutz's for an aperitif. The school is in a castle where everything is marble and it is pleasantly cool. It has free Fridays, Mondays and Sundays. [Aaron] Copland is very nice. The building is quiet during the day because all the students go to Tanglewood. One student is very gifted, he's of Swiss descent. BM believes it will help him a lot in his music career. He enjoys working with the students and hopes to raise them to be good composers. He is working on the last movement [TOCCATY E DUE CANZONI] for [Paul] Sacher. BM has no news from New York or Prague. Mihals [Marcel Mihalovici] asked about ChM, BM informed him that ChM has returned.
