Content and physical description
ContentBohuslav Martinů thanks you for your Christmas wishes. He finally received the score of CONCERTA DA CAMERA and sent it corrected to Universal Edition, Vienna. There was no problem with the piano, but the violin part needs to be looked at carefully, there are many technical changes. Two bars in the last movement and one perhaps in the second movement have been crossed out - Alfred Schlee is to decide. He also sends the violin part, but the slides and fingering are not to be taken into account (they come from Louis Kaufman). BM's corrections are in blue, red from a conductor. He included a list of corrections with the score. With thanks, he returns the Janáček. He is enthusiastic about Perotino and asks to send Monteverdi's "Vespers" and Vecchi's "Amphiparnasso" if they are not too expensive. Which Monteverdi edition does AS have in mind? Do they have anything by Schütz? If so, they should send it.
