Content and physical description
ContentBetty Bean writes that in the local library there is only one autograph copy of the score of the SONATA DA CAMERA FOR CELLO AND CHAMBER ORCHESTRA. Upon the request of [Henri] Honegger, she tried to do something about it, yet the cello competition is inaccessible and to date there has not been any opportunity for performance. Therefore, the score should be sent to the [Boosey & Hawkes] library in London, Jack Henderson should try it there. BB will write in the case that the material is needed here [in the USA], since HH plans to be here in the autumn and hopes to give concerts.
