Content and physical description
ContentBetty Bean has just spoken to Bohuslav Martinů on the telephone regarding Paul Sacher. The Boosey & Hawkes, London branch did not want to sell PS the material for the SINFONIA CONCERTANTE, hence PS asked Martinů to intervene with B&H. BB cannot do anything in this matter from the USA and therefore she asks Ernst Roth whether he could conclude a special agreement with PS. PS would certainly pay the standard amount for hiring. BM also mentioned the lacking dedication to Maja Sacher in the score for the SINFONIA CONCERTANTE. At B&H, New York they will add it to the proofs, which are being sent to them by Erwin Stein. BB asks for it to be added to the other materials in London.
