Content and physical description
ContentThomas Perry replies to the letter dated 15 March (Ref. No. XXV/52). He has no information about the Prague performance of Bohuslav Martinů’s SYMPHONY NO. 6, but he has forwarded the inquiry to London. He will send a press release relating to the work within a few days, and from it he will see that there have been another two performances approved by Mr. Leslie Rogers. He quotes from LR’s letter. He is pleased that Charles Munch will be repeating the work in Brooklyn; could TP reserve two tickets for him? He would like to meet him and ChM after the concert. He asks for confirmation of whether the exclusive rights to Aaron Copland’s Symphonic Ode will really expire at the end of September.
