ContentHe has received a package from him - Quartett [probably QUARTET FOR CLARINET, FOREST CORNER, VIOLONCELLO AND BUBINEK, H. 139] and agrees to have [the addressee] copy his composition; he also writes about the audition - he will not apply for the position (after Janáček), he has too much other work; he has entered his I. symphony (with the title Darney 1918) [here he writes "la baggare" in his hand, but it is the composition LA RHAPSODIE (Allegro symphonique) by H. 171], to be premiered the same year (1928) in Boston; as he thought the audition anonymous, he did not sign his name to it and sent it in the meantime to the Philharmonic for a schedule of material and then to Brno; [addressee] asks if he has access to the score if he could sign it on his behalf; if [addressee] himself is on the committee, BM will be pleased to give him his vote; he accepted the symphony for ever 1. performance (in Boston) by S. Koussevitzky, which should be a good recommendation for the piece.
