ContentArthur Tillman Merritt is pleased that the Browns will be sponsoring the Bohuslav Martinů String Quartet No. 6 at the Symposium. The Symposium will be held May 1, 2 and 3, 1947. The concert with the BM String Quartet will be on the evening of May 1 with Arnold Schoenberg and Walter Piston. The performer will be the Walden String Quartet.
February 15 is the date for BM to send the score. Merrritt would inform BM of the sponsorship as soon as the score comes in from him.
