Content and physical description
ContentBohuslav Martinů sent the score of the SMITH QUARTET No.6 after Speyer, Arthur Tillman Merritt should already have it. BM has notes for the copyist with regard to turning pages when breaking up parts. The copyist is not to use abbreviations when writing parts, but is to write out all the notes as they appear in the score, as the rhythm is quite complicated.
