Content[Louis-Marius] Speyer gave the score of Bohuslav Martinů's String Quartet No.6 to Walter Piston, Arthur Tillman Merritt has not seen the score but is sure it is beautiful. Merritt gave Piston a letter from BM listing the corrections to be made in the parts. Piston hands the score to the copyist. Merritt encloses with the letter a preliminary notice of the symposium. BM is to let BM know in the near future whether he and Charlotte will be coming so that accommodation can be arranged for them in Cambridge. He will ensure that BM receives his fee for the score from the University as soon as possible.
