Content and physical description
ContentArthur Tillman Merritt thanks you for your letter of 28.12. He is pleased to hear that Bohuslav Martinů has completed his quartet [SMITH QUARTET No. 6]. The score has not yet arrived, but the mail is slow. As for copying the parts: they have a man who makes copies very well. Merritt hasn't seen him yet, but thinks he could make copies on transparency paper and they will give one copy to BM. There will be articles about the Symposium and a list of all the composers and speakers in the Sunday paper on 12 Jan. They also intend to send out an official announcement.
