Content and physical description
ContentMary Pate sends thanks for the letter dated 30 October [1958] concerning the vocal score of Bohuslav Martinů´s JULIETTE, which they sent to Friedrich Schramm at the Hessisches Staatstheater in Wiesbaden in September 1953. Boosey & Hawkes are pleased to hear that the work will be premiered on 26 January 1959. Yet FS should return the vocal score to B&H in due time, since it is the only score with Walter Schmolka’s translation they possess.
