Content and physical description
ContentJosef Schieszl again addressed Dr. Zdeněk Wirth regarding the appointment of a new professor at the Prague Conservatory. He wondered whether he should write to Franke again, but he refrained from doing so. Wirth is more important and will submit a proposal to the Ministry. Schieszl considers it very important that the conservatory's professorial staff be divided, since it would probably be difficult for the ministry to make a unanimous proposal to the contrary (to Martinů's detriment). BM should therefore press Talich in particular, and besides him all the conservatoire professors whom he can, not to be persuaded to unanimity but to express themselves separately. Schieszl is otherwise pleased that BM's work is going well and looks forward to new developments.
