Content and physical description
ContentEmil Leichner (on behalf of the entire Czech Nonet) thanks Bohuslav Martinů for the NONET (No. 2), acknowledges receipt of the score. The Czech Nonet has included the work in the Salzburg Festival, the world premiere will be on 27.7.1959. The members of the Nonet therefore request that BM withhold any other performance until then. There are no technical problems in the score; they will be able to devote themselves to "beautiful music" only. Finally, Leichner corrects BM for the dedication - the official name of the ensemble is "Czech Nonet", not "Czechoslovakian".
