Content and physical description
ContentThe letter dated 17 December [1926] and the autograph of the THREE CZECH DANCES have arrived late, therefore they reply with a delay. They are really interested in the work, yet they unfortunately cannot print it. They would not even be able to advertise it properly. Because of the belatedly received letter dated 3 January [1927], they could not send by 10 January the corrections of STRING QUARTET NO. 2 for the New York quartet. Bohuslav Martinů should let them know whether he still wants them to make a copy or whether he can wait until the work has been printed, in the second half of February.
