ContentBohuslav Martinů acknowledges receipt of the shipment of medicine in his hand and thanks for opening a bank account in Switzerland. He was glad to hear Karl Weber's wife (Margrit) in Rome, and is happy to write a concerto for her [CONCERT FOR PIANO AND ORCHESTRA No. 5]. Thanks him warmly for arranging a stay in the mountains, where they will go at the end of July, as soon as they have finished the composition for the Boston Orchestra [PARABOLY]. On his visit to BM in Rome KW was the only one who did not receive "a present of music", so BM will bring him some of his manuscript as a souvenir.
