ContentPaul Sacher thanks Bohuslav Martinů for his letter of 5 December and for agreeing to publish Willi Schuh's article.
He asks for the score of the CONCERTO FOR TWO VIOLINS AND ORCHESTRA, and would like to know this work. He recently looked at the score of the CONCERT FOR TWO PIANOS AND ORCHESTRA and finds the piece beautiful.
The Municipal Theatre of Basel has expressed an interest in THE MESSAGE ON THE BRIDGE. BM is to ask his publisher [Boosey & Hawkes] to send Sacher a piano excerpt and orchestral score.
