ContentPaul Sacher thanks Bohuslav Martinů for his letter of 10.12.CONCERT SYMPHONY [No.2] was a great success.
After the Basel premiere on 8.12.PS performed the work again on 16.12.in London as part of a BBC programme and will conduct it again on 13.1.1951 in Milan.
The publishers Boosey & Hawkes in London confirmed to Sacher that they were willing to sell him material for CONCERTANT SYMPHONY [No. 2]. PS thanks the addressee for his intervention.
PS encloses the publication which appeared in the Basler Nachrichten the day before the addressee's birthday, as well as the French original of "Chip" [?]
PS has made corrections to his score and parts [CONCERTANT SYMPHONY No. 2] according to the addressee's list [see Sac 1950-12-10, appendix]. He asks for clarification of several corrections he does not understand.
PS and Maja Sacher send their greetings to the addressee and to Charlotta Martinů and wish all the best for the New Year.
