Content and physical description
ContentBohuslav [and Charlotta] Martinů wish Maja Sacher a happy birthday and send her and Paul Sacher greetings from Charles Munch. Munch has been a tremendous success and they are considering entrusting the [New York] Philharmonic to him after Artur Rodzinski.
Arthur Honegger's Symphony [No. 3] was also a success, it is a superb work and Munch performed it excellently.
BM is recovering slowly and does not yet know if he will be able to come to Prague. But probably Charlotte will go there and take part in Sacher's performance of the Double Concerto.
