Content and physical description
ContentBohuslav Martinů informs Paul Sacher that Charlotte Martinů is already in Paris, having arrived by plane. She has brought Sacher the first movement [TOCCATA E DUE CANZONI] and will send it to him from Paris. BM will soon send him the rest by air.
BM does not want to change the orchestra, the combination of strings and the number of strings suits him.
The piece will be called "Toccata e canzoni", will be in three movements (toccata, 2 "canzoni") and will last at least 20-22 minutes.
ChM will write to Sacher. He will live in Vieux Moulin and stay until September. PS is to contact her if she goes to Paris; ChM could perhaps go there too, it won't be far.
