Content and physical description
ContentPaul Sacher thanks Bohuslav Martinů for his letter of 16 September. He repeats that the concert in Paris [Sacher's performance of TWO CONCERTS, see Sac 1945-08-22] will take place on 23 and 24 ["23/24"] February 1946. PS asked Charles Munch to send an official invitation to the addressee on behalf of the [Société des concerts du Conservatoire].
PS is surprised by the number of new works by BM and wishes him much success in his American premieres, and congratulates him on the offer from the Prague Conservatory. Hopes BM [with Charlotte Martinů] will stop by his [and Maja Sacher's] home during her trip to Czechoslovakia.
PS is not at all familiar with the biography by Alfred Knopf [probably by Miloš Šafránek and published by Alfred A. Knopf?] that BM mentioned in his last letter.
MS tried to contact Maria Martinů, but without success.
