Content and physical description
ContentBohuslav Martinů acknowledges receipt of the telegram to Paul Sacher [see Sac 1945-07-12]. He himself wrote to Sacher several times, most recently from here in June. He would be very happy if PS could premiere DVOJKONCERT in Paris. BM's only contacts with Paris are through Marcel Mihalovici, but something could probably be arranged with Manuel Rosenthal's orchestra. The piece is with Boosey & Hawkes, they could perhaps help too.
Ernest Ansermet performed SYMPHONY No. 1 in Geneva, Charles Munch will perform it in Paris.
BM and Charlotte Martinů would like to return soon, but it will probably be next spring at the earliest.
PS is to contact MM (he gives his address) or MR, BM himself will also enquire. He would be happy to see everyone in Paris again on that occasion.
How are Maja Sacher and the children? If the Sachers are missing anything, BM can send it to them.
BM gives his address valid until October (South Orleans, Massachusetts) and a later address to New York.
