Content and physical description
ContentBohuslav Martinů thanks Paul Sacher for his letter. They are waiting [with Charlotte Martinů] for news about the ship.
They have already received their exit visa and are just waiting for the transit visa for Spain, hopefully they will get it within a week.
BM has contacted Max Klein and has a recommendation from Minister M.F. de [Lesquerico?] He hopes that all will now go well. They will leave at once and wait in Lisbon as long as necessary.
He has received news from the musicians [from the USA], they are expecting the arrival of BM. There is a premiere in Boston to mark his arrival, the date was already set for January and then postponed to February. Hopefully they will be there by then [with ChM].
He has sent Sacher the material [CONCERTA GROSSA], hopefully he has received it.
No news from Louis Wauthier, hopefully he's in touch with Universal Edition.
He wishes all the best for the new year. He encloses a letter and asks PS to forward it.
He would like to be away and work on the cantata in peace. He will find the author of the text [in the USA].
