ContentBohuslav Martinů returns to the theme of CONCERTA GROSSA. He had already gone to the post office with the manuscript score, but they talked him out of sending it. BM does not want to risk losing the manuscript if he has no copy. He suggests waiting to see how the situation develops and perhaps delivering the manuscript another way.
BM asks Paul Sacher to explain this to Universal Edition and assure them that BM does not want to complicate the situation. He will return the manuscript and then the material as soon as possible.
They [and Charlotte Martinů] will probably leave Paris as soon as possible.
