Content and physical description
ContentAs Paul Sacher already wrote to Bohuslav Martinů, Universal Edition refused to provide the manuscript score of CONCERTA GROSSA on the grounds that they needed it for the production of the material. Now, however, Sacher was unexpectedly sent the score. In the enclosed letter, they asked for its prompt return and expressed their wish that he include the piece in the program for the next season.
Is BM in direct contact with UE? Will he send the manuscript back to Sacher so that he can return it to UE? Should PS write to them?
PS sent the part and score to the addressee, hopefully everything arrived safely.
PS and Maja Sacher send their regards to BM and Charlotte Martinů.
