Dopis jsem dostal a nejake take prekvapeni o nemz se zminujes jsem vlastne ocekaval[1] ale stejne nevim jak bych se mel rozhodnouti,je to riskantni vylet a zvlaste jak se ted v posledni dobe utvarilo tak to nevypada na sbratreni narodu nebo vypada?[2] Zde jsou totiz,jak asi vis,na tyto historie velmi pozorni a mohlo by se i stati ze bych priste nedostal pas se podivat do Evropy.[3]No zatim to neni tak horke,dosud jsem stejne nic officielne nedostal ale porad mi,co sam o tom myslis.Ja sam jsem ted ve vzduch a predelavam si plany zdali bych eventuelne nemohl vubec ziti v Evrope,treba zase na jihu Francie.[4]To je vse jeste v budoucnosti ale zde mne to moc neinspiruje. Rad bych ti pomohl vice ale prekvapila mne zde ta drahota a co se tyce dostat neco z lidi to out of question[5]. Prachy tu sice bezi jako velka reka ale to je vse na instituce a ne privatne,zkratka tak jako uz mama zkusenost z nasich mladsich let.Z Londyna jsem dosud pres moje urgovani nedostal zadnou zpravu,nevim co se s nimi deje a zdejsi office nevi nic,asi chteji delati drahoty pri nove smlouve.[6] Zkratka se tady peru s kazdym o penize a prestava mne to bavit.Ascap.muj editor a t. d.,rovnez Curtis Institute,neni to zabavne a ztracim s tim jen cas. Na tu knihu z Yale se musim zeptat,nevim jaky je titul a kdo to dal dohromady,ja to necetl,snad Evans????Tak se potesis s Jendou[7],jsem zvedav jak shledas Malraux[8],ten se ted dal do hluboke esthetiky. Doma si stezuji ze jsme nepsali je to ostuda,psal jsem jim ze jsme se chuystali porad ale meli malo casu,tak jim tez napis. Ted budou stejne zamestnani s mym narozenim,bude tam Brno delat ty Studanky.[9] Chteji je vydat v Praze luxusne ale tez nemam dosud povoleni z Londyna[10]. Ze se ti Pariz libi mne neudivuje ale je to stejne banda. Jsem zde hodne otraveny a k nicemu jsem se dosud nedostal a ani nemam na nic mysl,jen premyslim jak je vsechno pitome. Pis mi sem do hotelu budu zde az do 15 prosince. pak je moje adresa 108 East 60 St. Sadlovi[11] poslu vytah jak jej dostanu, nevim zdali to neposlali do rue Charron?[12] Napis co kste objevili s Jendou on ma jiste mladsi nazory na svet.
