ContentIt seems that the aid has been stopped; he has not yet received either the money or an explanation; "and so, despite all the grandiose speeches about culture, it seems again that a few janitors are more than a few artists"; he is waiting for official confirmation of the stoppage of aid; he will have to write to the consul "to be allowed at least a loan until I disappear from here"; or should he write to the ambassador ?; send a telegram to Masaryk ?; he is waiting for advice.

Milý příteli,



Zdá se, že podpory jsou zaraženy, alespoň jsem nic až do dnes nedostal, ani peníze ani dopis vysvětlení a tak přese všecky ty velikánské projevy o kultuře se zdá znova že několik domovníků je více než několik umělců.[1] Tak jsme zase v the same old game[2]. Čekám na potvrzení officielní že podpory jsou zastaveny a musím asi napsat konsulovi[3] aby mi povolili alespoň půjčku až do té doby než odsud zmizím. Papánek tu není a tak žádný všemohoucí pán to nerozhodne.[4] Nebo myslíte abych napsal velvyslanci, což asi také udělám ovšem to bude veliký problem![5]



Co myslíte že bych měl udělat?



Musím nutně něco z nich dostat, jinak to nevypadá slibně. Poslat telegram, komu? kam? Masarykovi?[6]
