ContentBohuslav Martinů sends the contract on the STRING QUARTET NO. 2; he has crossed out something in it. In the first clause, that which concerns the mechanical and performance rights, since he has already assigned them to the Czechoslovak copyright protection association; in the second clause, the licence on amendments, abridgments, notes and revisions in the dramatic form, since it is not possible in the case of such a chamber work. In the final clause, he has crossed out the words “Sammelalbum und Anthologien”.
