Bylo to zvoraný, nezlob se, nechal jsem ti vzkaz
v hotelu u té naší hezké slečny, a ona ti to
nedala, čekali jsme tě vedle v hotelu. Budeme
v N.Y. asi 1. července ale nevím jak dlouho a kdy
ale zkusím ti zatelefonovat abychom se sešli.
Jinak nic nového. Mitropo[u]la jsem neviděl a
od Bédi nedostanu nic, kdybys viděl Šmída zeptej se
ho na to. Kdybys mohl přijet k nám bylo by to
nejlepší řešení, já se už moc těším na
venkov a na ostrov, teď jsem u Š. a je tu
báječně, a doufám že se dostanu zase trochu
dohromady a shlížím se a myslím že začnu
pracovat. Přemejšlej co by se dalo dělat s
Double-concertem. Uvidíšli [sic] Novotnou řekni
jí že mi musí pomoci v Toscance a aby mi
napsala které by chtěla míti ty písně zorche-
strovány, napiš mi její adressu!
