Content and physical description
ContentBohuslav Martinů tackles the question of the performance of THE SONG: Sergei A. Koussevitzky accepted it as a premiere [in Boston], but BM does not know the date, and Václav Talich also wants to perform it, in London. BM therefore asks VT to wait to make a decision until SAK confirms the exact date of the premiere. He will be going to Prague next week for the concerts of Sl. Elisabeth Coolidge next week and they will make arrangements there. Writing out the music would not be a problem, he has a second score. He expects the work to be a success. He has a new thing: "Decollage", i.e. Departure [WEIRD FLIGHT?]; it is a sharp Allegro con brio for about 7 minutes, but he would probably not finish it until November.
