Content and physical description
ContentHe is delighted with the interest of the National Theatre in his new "folk opera-oratorio", which he has completed these days. He gives a breakdown with the minutes and the title of the whole evening "PLAYS ABOUT MARY". He is sending the score to Brno, where he has been offered a performance as early as December. Over the holidays they will be breaking down the orchestral material, then handing over the scores to the ND in Prague. He wants to come to Prague for the winter, so he took advantage of the offer from Brno. He asks for confidence and to keep the date for the Prague performance. The ND could receive the scores at the beginning of September, after which a final decision will be made. He proposes that Ostrčil arrange directly with the Brno theatre for a schedule of material. Perhaps the Brno theatre could first send the scores to Prague for a few days for inspection. He also asks for space in the theatre list after the holidays to mention the new means he is using in his work.
