Content and physical description
ContentBohuslav Martinů writes from Switzerland, waiting for news from Bohemia. He feels more at ease in Switzerland than in Paris - he has a villa in a beautiful, quiet environment. Before leaving Paris he inquired at the Legation about the scholarship, but he knows nothing new. He has also been to the Institute and also nothing new. The École normale has nothing to do with it anymore either. He's looking forward to hearing from Prague. He has sent two letters to Brno, asking if they have arrived. He also sent one letter to the Three Wells just before Vítězslava Kapralová left there, did she receive it? He gives his address with Paul Sacher. He will probably not be coming to Prague in October. She hopes she got a scholarship. It won't be the same France... It's definitely the last year he'll be there too - even if he doesn't get a place at the conservatoire.
